Lee Turnbull will be the guest at the Iron Trust’s AGM, being held on Wednesday 25 February at the Wortley House Hotel (Rowland Road, Scunthorpe. DN16 1SU).

The AGM will start at 7pm, with honorary Trust member Lee joining us from 8pm to speak about his role at SUFC and answer questions from fans. The AGM is restricted to just members, but the session with Lee from 8pm is open to all.

Lee, who was one of our first honorary members, is chief executive of the SUFC Trust who run the community program based at Glanford Park and scouts for the club – including a number of trips to Holland to see recent signing Kevin van Veen in action prior to his move to North Lincolnshire.

The AGM itself is restricted to members, but the 8pm talk from Lee is open to all fans. The Wortley are corporate partners of the Trust, and will host a fundraising event on the evening of Saturday April 11.

Popular local 60s band The Moggies will headline the event, which will raise money for the Trust and local good causes. There will also be a disco, with tickets costing £7.50 and available from Trust Corner, board members.
