Survey results 2015
The full results of the Iron Trust’s 2015 member survey are now available. The results were encouraging as they suggest fan happiness has increased (57 per cent of respondents said they felt valued as a supporter, the first time more have said they do than do not) and members remain happy with the achievements of the Trust so far (97.4 per cent said they were).
There was still strong support for the Trust buying shares in the club – this was identified as the highest priority for spending by just over half of respondents.
The same number felt that working to improve supporters’ matchday experience was a top priority for the coming season, ahead of fundraising.
Gaining a seat on the club’s board was the lowest priority and is not something the Trust is currently pushing for.
There was overall support for the proposed new stadium, with 58 per cent saying the backed the plan and 31 per cent remaining undecided.
A lot of the suggestions will come as no surprise to regular fans, such as the desire to have standing areas and enough car parking spaces.
