The Trust Player of the Month was Cal Roberts who marked his return from injury with 3 goals.
It was a good end to the year with the Iron winning every game in December scoring 16 goals and conceding just 3. Our nine league have come from Roberts (3), Whitehall (2), Ubaezuonu (2) and one goal each from Howe and Sellars-Fleming (who has now gone to the dark side!)
We also had an emphatic 5-0 home win over Peterborough Sports in the FA Trophy (Eze 2, Roberts, Howe and Brogan) and 2-0 at home to Newcastle U21’s (Howe and Oteh; who has now signed for Braintree).
This is the first time that Roberts, last season’s Trust Player of the Season, has taken the monthly award. The other winners so far this season have been Howe (August), Evans (September) and Rowley (October and November).
The winner of our Player of the Season trophy will be the player who has the most Player of the Month votes over the whole season.
