On behalf of our members we would like to place on record our sadness at the passing of Kevin Keegan.
Kevin was quite possibly the greatest ever player to play for Scunthorpe United.
Many older fans will remember those Old Showground matches when he partnered Nigel Cassidy in attack. Perhaps most famously was the memory of the 2-1 giant killing win at First Division Sheffield Wednesday when giant killing was giant killing!
He was only recently at GP, pulling pints and was as approachable as ever.
Our heartfelt thoughts are with his family at this sad time.
Such a humble young player.
