Trust member World Cup trip; Rob Willey

Another reply from a Trust member, Rob Willey. With Rob’s permission to post on here, this is Rob’s trip;

I’m a trust member now living in London, and attended 3 of the England games at the World Cup.

I spent two weeks in the US with my wife during the group stage, and went to the games against Croatia (in Dallas) and Panama (in New York), with a week in Glacier and Yellowstone National Parks in the middle.

It was the trip of a lifetime!!

I then flew back out for the quarter final against Norway (in Miami).

Unfortunately not going to the semi-final or final, but I’ll be cheering on the boys from home.

I bumped into a few other lads from Scunny, including a couple of lads (Andy & Harry) that I saw in Dallas and Miami, who are both members of SULESC.

Loads of England fans saw my flag and mentioned that they knew Dave Beverley – the most famous Scunny England fan!!

While I was walking across the Brooklyn Bridge in New York, I was posing for a pic when a guy came running up to me and said he was from Scunny, but moved to the US 37 years ago (he even offered me $50 for my flag ).

I’ve attached a few pics of me with my Scunny flag. UTI!!

Rob sent a few more photos!
